Racing
At the end of the day, it's what we row for. We row to race, and hopefully win. There are three main competitions annually, namely Christ Church Regatta, Torpids, and Summer Eights. Each are at the end of the three terms at Oxford. Whilst Christ Church Regatta is in a head-to-head format for all the novices that have just learnt to row , Torpids and Summer Eights see all boats line up and try to catch each other by "bumping".
