Why we need sponsorship.
Rowing is a sport with equipment, and we often need to maintain and repair equipment. On one end of the spectrum there is boat repair, fixing a faulty rigger, crack in the hull or replacing a seat. There is then also the coxing side that sometimes requires renewal of Cox Box chargers (£20) to renewal of the Cox Box/Orb (£400+) and various support equipment. The other side of this spectrum is the shells (boats) themselves. We have a large and proud fleet of shells but however making an addition to the fleet can often cost us the price of a small car. Finally of course we have to pay our coaches, and to get ahead in the world we would like to be able to pay competitive prices to our coaches in order to offer our rowers the best there possibly is.
What would you get in return?
Kit - We are avid lovers of rowing "stash" and so there would be a great opportunity advertise your companies brand across all of our race and training kit, as well as on the sides of our actual boat – a very popular choice.
Race Day Advertisement - During our internal and external regatta appearances we would be easily able to provide advertisement. Our own boat house is positioned in a prime location in the Oxford Bumps races to display banners and various forms of advertisement that you would potentially see fit, for both current students, as well as alumni and other rowers to see.
Recruitment - The above would provide perfect opportunity for your company to advertise careers to students both in oxford, and when competing against other universities.
